My dictionary says that talent is a superior ability in an art. Exactly, but many people have the erroneous belief that someone is born with talent and so limit themselves by thinking they don’t have it. Thats not true. Art is learnable, those we describe as talented generally work at their favourite subject and there by get good at it. We all have that capability. Talent is within our grasp if only we can believe and are willing to work at it. Likewise genius is not inborn, it is the results of talent, no more, no less. Talent and genius is latent in everyone, don’t close the door on either.
