Putty Rubber

A type of Eraser. An artists tool used in the drawing process. It is also often referred to as a Kneaded Rubber. Putty Rubbers are made out of a very soft pliable material, much like putty, hence it's name.

Putty rubber - used when drawing.A putty rubber is considered to be the best and most useful type of eraser if you are learning how to draw with several drawing mediums. It can be kneaded between the fingers to provide a clean surface and specific shape for erasing small spaces.

ART MAKING TIP: Try covering your paper with a consistent shade of charcoal, and drawing by erasing the charcoal with the putty rubber.
