A type of Eraser. An artists tool used in the drawing process. It is also often referred to simply as a Rubber.
 A plastic eraser is the most useful type of eraser for general pencil erasing as it smudges less and if not overly used will keep the surface of the paper intact. For this reason Plastic Erasers are preferred for artists using fine drawn detail using graphic pencils.
ART MAKING TIP: A plastic eraser will become dirty with use and if used again dirty can sometimes permanently smudge your paper. To clean your plastic eraser rub it on nylon carport or on sturdy fabric like a your jeans! It will be perfectly clean in seconds.
