Graphite

Graphite is a natural substance that comes from the earth, it is actually pure carbon and is similar to coal however greater in it's purity.
Graphite is used for making pencils
For it's use in art, graphite is commonly made into Pencils, often called Lead Pencils, Sketching Pencils or the well known brand Progresso Pencil. As an alternative to charcoal, graphite it is quite hard and durable perfect for acheiving a sharp point and fine lines.
