Fibre Glass

Fiber glass is simply a material made from extremely fine thread-like fibers of glass. To create an object using fiber glass involves a process using various resins and hardeners to create a hard, plastic like surface. Before going through this process the fiber glass is simply a sheet of overlapping, cross-hatched fibers, it appears similar to thick nylon fabric, it feels soft and is quite pliable.

Fiber glass it used by artists as it is very strong but light weight. It can be used for many applications.
