Coated Paper

Paper that has been manufactured with a coating, there are many various types of paper coatings available in the print industry. However in regards to fine art coated paper generally means it has a very smooth surface. Coated paper is less absorbent that non-coated paper, and is particularly useful for high resolution printing as it dramatically reduces ink bleed.
