Australian photographic portrait prize

Often referred to inaccurately as the ‘photographic Archibald’ the Australian Photographic Portrait Prize is an innovation held in conjunction with the Archibald Prize annually. So far it has been well received and not suffered the controversies that have accompanied the Archibald itself. At $20,000 the prize is one of the richest photographic prizes in the world. it is open to all forms of digital and analogue photo based art.
